SpaceWorks has been a part of some of the most intriguing projects in the museum industry including the restoration and conservation of the Liberty Bell 7, the Apollo XIII and F-1 engines recovered from the ocean floor by Jeff Bezos.
In addition, SpaceWorks has created high fidelity replica spacecraft as well as artifact display cases. Replicas and exhibit cases can be found throughout the world including current projects supporting two international touring exhibitions.
The range of expertise includes projects as large as creating a replica lunar module. Craftsmen display competency in metal working, welding, fabrication, paint, mold making, installation, packing and artifact transportation.
Custom work of original designs to custom cases for artifacts are the hallmark of the SpaceWorks team. They offer turnkey services from production to installation to precisely meet the needs of specific situations.
The competencies listed above can transfer to a variety of projects within the museum industry. SpaceWorks has been engaged by museums nationally to fabricate and install new exhibitry as well as case construction, crating and installation work.
