Established in 1987, Research Casting International (RCI) has grown from a team of three to over 40 in 2021. We have the largest facility of its kind with over 60,000 sq. ft. of production and have worked with globally renowned museums such as The Smithsonian, American Museum of Natural History, the Natural History Museum in London, The Royal Ontario Museum, Field Museum in Chicago, and many more. Our work includes: specimen restoration, cast dinosaur mounting, fossil mounting, molding & casting, 3D scanning and printing of specimens, 5 axis routing, hard coat and foam fabrication, bronze and aluminum casting, sculpting, theming, prop production, concrete, rockwork, artificial trees and more. We are also home to a state-of-the-art, secure, climate controlled storage facility which was built originally for housing The Smithsonian specimens during their remounting process.
